Predsjednica se danas s kraljicom rukovala nešto malo drugačije nego što to državnici obično rade

Neobična gesta gospođe Grabar Kitarović na službenom prijemu

Elizabeta II. danas je, kako su izvijestili gotovo svi mediji, primila predsjednicu RH. Sudeći prema agencijskim fotografijama, gospođa Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović pritom je službenom rukovanju s kraljicom pristupila nešto neformalnije nego se očekuje.

Predsjednica je, pruživši joj desnu ruku, lijevom primila kraljicu za podlakticu, što baš i nije očekivano. Na službenim stranicama kraljevske obitelji stoji kako ne postoje obligatorna pravila ponašanja prilikom susreta s kraljevskom obitelji, no većina državnika u tim se prigodama uglavnom drži protokola.

Kako točno izgleda taj protokol objasnio je nedavno Grant Harrold, bivši batler kraljevske obitelji i stručnjak za pravila ponašanja u njihovoj blizini.

Kraljica prva pruža ruku

Prilikom rukovanja s Elizabetom II., objasnio je Harrold, ruku treba pružiti pod pravim kutom s palcem prema gore. Nakon kontakta, palac treba nježno spustiti i prstima iznimno lagano pritisnuti kraljičine.

Ista stvar navodi se u tradicionalnim pravilima prema kojima osobe koje kraljica primi moraju čekati da im ona prva pruži ruku, te se potom trebaju lagano rukovati s njom. Svaki kontakt poput grljenja ili dodirivanja kraljice ne smatra se prikladnim.

Državnici se, uz rijetke iznimke, drže ovoga pravila, što je vidljivo tijekom nekoliko susreta kraljice Elizabete II. i njemačke kancelarke Angele Merkel ili tijekom susreta kraljice s bivšom premijerkom Trinidada i Tobaga Kamlom Persad-Bissessar i tako dalje.
