Guverner Floride pozvao je u petak stanovnike te savezne američke države da osiguraju zalihe hrane, vode i lijekova za najmanje tjedan dana i da se pripreme za nestanak električne struje i telekomunikacijskih veza jer se u idućim danima očekuje dolazak uragana Doriana.

“Mislim da se sa prilično velikom sigurnošću može reći da će to biti snažan uragan”, rekao je guverner Floride Ron DeSantis na novinskoj konferenciji, pozivajući stanovnike da se pripreme za “višednevnu” oluju.

Očekuje se evakuacija

Na Floridi je proglašeno izvanredno stanje, mobilizirano je 2500 pripadnika Nacionalne garde, a 1500 je u pripravnosti. Još nije naređena evakuacija, ali će biti kada bude poznata ruta kojom će se oluja kretati.

Izvanredno stanje proglašeno je i u 12 okruga susjedne Georgije kako bi se moglo pomoći stradalima u oluji.

Dorian bi tijekom vikenda mogao ojačati u uragan 4. kategorije.
