Lijes s tijelom britanskog princa Philipa, na stražnjem dijelu posebno prilagođenog Land Rovera u subotu je prevezen u kraljevsku kriptu dvorca Windsor gdje je pokopan. Land Rover s lijesom princa pješice je slijedila povorka starijih članova kraljevske obitelji, među kojima su bili princ Charles i njegovi sinovi, prinčevi William i Harry.
