Dosad je poginulo najmanje 640 ljudi, očekuje se da će brojka biti puno veća
Najmanje 640 ljudi poginulo je, a tisuće su ozlijeđene u potresu magnitude 7,8 po Richteru koji je pogodio središnju Tursku i sjeverozapadni dio Sirije.
Očekuje se da će brojka poginulih biti daleko veća od sadašnjih procjena. Potres se dogodio u 04:17 sati po lokalnom vremenu (02:17 po našem), na dubini od oko 17,9 kilometara.

U medijima i na društvenim mrežama sve je više dramatičnih snimki.
Neke su nastale u trenutku potresa, a neke nakon te pokazuju razmjere uništenja: rušenje zgrada, pokušaje spašavanja ljudi zatrpanih u ruševinama, goleme rascjepe… U nastavku donosimo neke od njih.
