I dok u Parizu traje veliki summit o klimi, škole u Pekingu naredile su da djeca ostanu kod kuće, a svim stanovncima da ne izlaze van, Brojni roditelji sa svojm djecom pristižu u bolnice zbog problema s disanjem.

Peking je naime suočen s ekstremnim onečišćenjem zraka. Grad je siv i ne vidi se od smoga. Vidljivost je u Pekingu pala na samo nekoliko stotina metara, javlja AFP.

Stanovnici se žale na probleme s disanjem

Stanovnicima se savjetuje da ne izlaze van, a oni koji i izađu obavezno nose maske.

“To je najgori dan do sada u ovoj godini”, rekla je 36-godišnja žena. “Gušim se u sluzi i jako me svrbi grlo. Ali ja sam više zabrinuta za zdravlje mojeg 7-godišnjeg djeteta.”, kazala je jedna stanovnica Pekinga.

Ispred dječje bolnice u središtu Pekinga, roditelji, bake i djedovi žale se na utjecaj smoga i na zagađenje koje je uzrok da su njihova djeca sve osjetljivija na infekcije grla i razne prehlade.

Opasna koncentracija

Dnevno maksimalno izlaganje česticama PM2,5, prema preporukama Svjetske zdravstvene organizacije, iznosi 25 mikrograma po prostornom metru. U Pekingu je koncentracija dosegla 600 mikrograma po prostornom metru.
