Djedica Jimmy doslovno se nikad ne odvaja od Stevieja, svog slijepog najboljeg prijatelja. Nježno brine o njemu

Ovo su Stevie i Jimmy. U kalifornijskom skloništu, gdje se dva psa trenutno nalaze, kažu da u 30 godina rada nisu vidjeli ovakvu vezu. Stevie, slijepi shar-pei, dosta je ovisan o Jimmyju, dosta starijem mužjaku čivave.

“Nismo još nikad – u 30 godina spašavanja pasa – vidjeli vezu poput ove koju imaju njih dvojica”, rekla je za The Dodo Neda Rosa iz skloništa California Shar-Pei Rescue. “I zanimljivo je, jer se čini kao da čivava Jimmy zna da je njegov partner slijep, pa se brine o njemu. Zalijepljen je za njega kao ljepilo. Stalno ga timari i pere mu lice. Jednostavno želi biti s njim”, priča.

**ADOPTED** Howdy! Jimmy and Stevie here, enjoying freedom and sunshine. Jimmy (Chi) had his dental addressed (we’ll spare you of the pics) and Stevie (Pei) is awaiting his appointment for severe bilateral entropian. Word around town is these two are BEYOND sweet and BEYOND bonded. They’re very easy to handle, no issues with anyone or anything – just all around perfect. They’re headed to us later this week and we can hardly wait to welcome them with open arms. To those that donated, thank you! Just a little recap of our fees so you know where your money goes: transport from the shelter to temp boarding – $100. Pull fees – $50. Temp boarding – $100. We just learned that they weren’t vaccinated for rabies – $60. Transport to us later this week – approx $150 – $200. Entropian surgery – likely $700, give or take. Additional vetting, food, care….etc. – it all adds up. We are so appreciative for the support, financially and through the many kind messages we received. We pride ourselves in doing rescue right! Dolazi u obzir samo zajedničko udomljavanje

Stevie i Jimmy su nedavno završili u azilu nakon što su pronađeni kako zajedno lutaju u južnoj Kaliforniji. Iako se činilo kao da su već prije zajedno živjeli u nekom domu, nitko se nije javio kao njihov vlasnik. Tada je njihova priča zaintrigirala ekipu iz skloništa California Shar-Pei Rescue, odlučili su preuzeti obojicu iako se inače isključivo fokusiraju na vrstu shar-pei.

**ADOPTED** We saw the saddest plea for help for a bonded pair…an odd couple who needed us. When we inquired, we learned another rescue had placed a hold on the Pei only and his bonded little friend was going to be left behind. If you know us, you know that’s something we would NEVER do. We rescued a Pei and Spaniel pair from North Central Shelter a few years ago and though it took some time, our Spaniel found an incredible home. We learned today that the rescue hold on the Pei was dropped, presumably due to social media outrage, so both dogs will now be coming to us. We are THRILLED to welcome Stevie (Pei) and Jimmy (Chi) to CSPR. This odd couple is completely bonded and will only be available as a package deal. Stevie currently has limited vision but we’re hopeful that it’s repairable with entropian surgery. Jimmy takes very good care of Stevie and the two of them together are just about the sweetest thing we’ve ever seen. Donations happily accepted for their boarding, vetting, transport and ongoing care. “Inače spašavamo samo shar-peije. Ali kada smo vidjeli kako su ova dva psa povezani, nije bilo šanse da ostavimo njegova prijatelja”, objasnili su. Sad čekaju da se javi netko tko će udomiti obojicu. Odvajanje, kažu, ne dolazi u obzir.

**ADOPTED** Stevie and Jimmy had a glamour shot session with the incredible @rita_earl_blackwell – let's please take a moment to admire her beautiful work and our two beautiful models. These two will be with us on Friday, fully vetted and available for adoption as a PACKAGE DEAL ONLY. They are extremely bonded and while we understand people don't come to us to adopt a Chihuahua, we hope their love for one another will peak interest in some lucky person opening up their heart and home.
